The City of Waterbury’s Economic Development Team. Together with our dedicated Board of Directors and City and State Officials, we are the key element in the City’s economic resurgence for its businesses, residents, and community.

The Waterbury Development Corporation (WDC) is the City of Waterbury’s designated non-profit economic and community organization. The Corporation was founded as a partnership of the public and private sectors to help the City of Waterbury, its businesses, and its residents revitalize their city, stimulate and support economic development, promote investment in education, rehabilitate and maintain the city’s housing stock, eliminate urban blight and decay, manage construction projects, and improve the overall quality of life.
