Waterbury City Hall is the iconic center of municipal government and a defining landmark in Downtown Waterbury. This project involved comprehensive restoration and renovation to preserve the building’s historic architectural character, update key building systems, and improve functionality for city operations and public access. The restoration received two awards:the 2011 Bulfinch Award and the 2011 Merit Award from Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation.
