Environmental assessment work was completed at the former Bristol Babcock facility in 2024 to evaluate site conditions and support potential redevelopment. Waterbury Development Corporation is now seeking funding to proceed with demolition planning and environmental cleanup activities. The site remains on hold pending funding. This work will help remove a long-vacant industrial property and prepare the site for future reuse.
