This project will reconstruct the intersection of Washington Avenue and South Main Street to remove the current “dog-leg” configuration and improve safety. Planned improvements include new pedestrian crossings, lighting, signage, drainage upgrades, and a bus stop. The redesign will make the area safer and easier to navigate for both vehicles and pedestrians.
