Phase II of the Waterbury Naugatuck River Greenway extends the City’s riverfront trail network with new multi-use paths connecting Eagle Street to West Main Street, then following the Mad River to Washington Avenue before turning north along the Naugatuck River. The route passes through the former Anamet industrial site, crosses Bank Street, continues onto Jackson Street, and rejoins the river’s edge up to West Main Street. This phase also supports broader corridor improvements including Jackson Street Riverfront Park, West Main streetscaping, and EV charging capacity near the train station.
