Waterbury Development Corporation on behalf of the City of Waterbury is managing one and half mile utility renovation and replacement project along West Main Street from the City’s Green to the Naugatuck River.
The scope of this project includes sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains and is being worked upon in conjunction city of Waterbury’s streetscape project along the same route. Current infrastructure to be replaced dates between late 1800’s to early 1900’s.
SLR Engineering is the firm designing the project with a construction contractor yet to be selected. This project is scheduled to span from 2026-2029.
