The Waterbury Rail line runs from Waterbury to Bridgeport and consists of 27 miles of track with stops in Waterbury, Naugatuck, Beacon Falls, Seymour, Ansonia, and Derby. The WRL makes 7 outbound trips, 8 inbound trips and a total of 15 trips daily. This number is expected to increase from 15 daily trips to 22 daily trips as a result of the governor’s proposed bi-annual budget. This change is proposed to take place in July 20202.
