A new Pre-K through 8th grade school was constructed in the East End of Waterbury to replace the former Wendell Cross facility. Construction began in late 2019, and the new building opened to students in September 2021. The modern school includes updated learning spaces, specialized classrooms, and full ADA-accessible design features to support a high-quality educational environment for Waterbury students.
